Vivvaa Reader is a reader for PDF and EPUB files. It works offline, has no account and no ads, and doesn't collect your personal data. This policy explains what the app stores and where.
Nothing. Vivvaa Reader doesn't send your books, notes, reading activity or any other personal data to us or to anyone else. There is no analytics, advertising or tracking in the app.
To work, the app keeps the following on your device only: your library (titles, authors, covers and where each file is), reading positions and progress, bookmarks, highlights and notes, collections, and your settings.
Books you import stay where you keep them. The app remembers where each file is and the permission you granted to open it; it doesn't make a copy. A book opened in Vivvaa Reader from another app (“Open with” or the share sheet) is copied into the app's own storage, because that app only lends the file.
Vivvaa Reader doesn't need the internet. Links inside a book open in your browser only after you confirm. “Send feedback” opens your email app with a message you can review before sending; it includes the app version and your device model and system version to help us answer.
The app opens files through the system file picker, so it doesn't ask for access to all your storage. It can only open the files you choose or share with it.
If device backups are turned on (iCloud or Google), your phone may include the app's library, notes and settings in them. Those backups are handled by Apple or Google under their own terms. Your book files themselves aren't included unless they were shared into the app.
Removing a book from the library deletes its bookmarks, highlights and notes from the app; your original file isn't touched. Uninstalling Vivvaa Reader deletes everything the app stored.
Vivvaa Reader is suitable for everyone and doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the new version will appear in the app and on our website with a new date.
